The Yale men s cross country team named junior John McGowan its team captain for the 2014 season after an election held at its annual team banquet on Dec. 9. McGowan, a Davenport Global Affairs major from Washington, D.C., has been one of the Bulldogs most consistently impressive runners during the past three seasons, and his teammates recognized his leadership at the team banquet.
